Financial Policy

We deliver the finest, state of the art care, at the most reasonable cost to our patients. We will assist you in understanding your dental and/or medical coverage. As a service, we will submit your insurance claims for you. Please remember, you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

Medical and dental carriers require patients to keep them informed of any other insurance coverage. Annually, insurance carriers will require patients to complete a COB (coordination of benefits) form. Some carriers will accept this information via a phone call to member services. Failure to respond to the insurance carrier’s requests will result in a delay in payment of your claims.

Additionally, insurance carriers require patients over the age of 18 to submit full-time student documentation. We ask that you keep your insurance carrier informed of the patient’s student status. Failure to respond to this request will delay payment of claims as well.

If you have coverage with any insurance carrier that we are contracted with, you will not receive a monthly statement. After the insurance carrier has made payment we will bill you for any patient responsibility. If your insurance carrier is one that we are not contracted with, you will receive a monthly statement. Most insurance carriers will respond to claims submitted within four to six weeks.

Prompt remittance of any balance due is appreciated. For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard. After hours, you may leave a message.
