Dr. Adarsh Yagnik DMD

We are excited to announce that Dr. Adarsh D. Yagnik has joined our practice! Dr. Yagnik, a native of northern New Jersey, grew up in the town of Belleville. He graduated from Rutgers University-New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and later earned his Master's in Biomedical Sciences from UMDNJ. He then attended The Rutgers School of Dental Medicine before completing a year-long general practice residency at JFK Medical Center. Following this, Dr. Yagnik spent one year completing a non­categorical oral surgery internship and then four years at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, a Level 1 trauma center. In his final year of residency, he served as senior chief resident. After completion of his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Yagnik joined Cooper University Hospital.
During his time at Cooper, he was also the Director of the Cooper Center for lmplantology, where he played a pivotal role in advancing implantology and bone grafting techniques. In addition, he served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Cooper University Hospital for five years while training the next generation of oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
Dr. Yagnik is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS) and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a distinction held by less than 200 single degree oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the United States.
He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (NJSOMS) and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). Additionally, he holds professional affiliations with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA). Dr. Yagnik is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Dr. Yagnik specializes in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on dental implants, bone grafting, surgical extraction of impacted teeth, general anesthesia for both adults and children, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, and the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea (MMA surgery). He is also trained to treat medically complex patients, maxillofacial trauma, and benign head and neck pathology. Dr. Yagnik has presented at national conferences and published articles in peer­reviewed journals.
Outside of his professional work, he enjoys raising his twins with his wife, spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching sports and playing golf.
